He has a lot to contribute in the future and I hope I can help him. We have had a lot of chats and we're just looking to establish our relationship a lot more and make it a lot tighter which is invaluable when we're out there in the middle. Aiden and I have been working really hard, we have grafted hard in our domestic side. I have had experience in Asian countries, but every cricketer must experience playing in Pakistan. Looking forward to Pakistan, I've never been there before and it is the only Asian country where I have never played cricket. I feel that if I look to score and be positive it is something we can build on.
With my experience and my age, I just need to contribute and add. I am not taking a lot of risks at the moment and it is something I have had chats with the coaching staff in the lockdown. (laughs) If I play my best cricket I look to score a bit more. They're calling me Kusal Perera in the Proteas. I have had some success knowing that the ball would seam and swing around which I like in a contest. I knew if I occupied and grafted hard I could cement one side at the Wanderers. I just wanted to get us into a position of strength.
